So on Day 12, I weight in and was about 120 lb or so, which means about 5 or 6 lb off! Yes, 10 more lb to go. TC’s work health insurance has this “health coaching” program if we took advantage, we’ll save $12/month on premium. So both of us did schedule to speak with them. I spoke to my assigned health coach, she was surprise to see I already lost 5 lbs in less than 2 weeks. She advices that on average it’s about 2 lb a week weight lost with the 1300 calories plan. I’ll follow up with her in 60 days via email for some updates. I did not even know what to talk to her about since I have a plan and document everything. Their website actually has some incredible resources. It tracked some information, very cool.
Today, I woke up at 6:30 am, well, its really too early for Saturday. Dr. Yen was to volunteer at our neighborhood 5K run event to earn some volunteer hours for Beta Club. So by the time I dropped her off, I have plenty of time to perform my weekly cleaning. It gave me lots of time to cook up 1 cup of Mogami 8-Blend Whole Wheet Grain Rice – Congie 200% diluted w/ water – soupy no taste. I have chili bamboo shoots as a condiment to go with this comfort food. I can have them for breakfast and for lunch.
I also made a pot of Taiwanese Pork Stew for the weekend. The eggs will be breakfast items for next week. What a great way to prepare for weekly meals.
